José Ernesto Amino, 51 years old, has been a ranger for 15 years in the Luwire hunting bloc, where, over the years, he has demonstrated his exceptional commitment, bravery and focus on justice, fighting poaching and protecting wild life. Since 2010, he has been head of the rangers.

José has been outstanding in the arrest of poachers and the seizure of various guns and traps used to hunt large animals.

José Ernesto was expelled from his community and has suffered several death threats because of his involvement in the fight against poaching and illegal trafficking. However, his willingness to continue fighting for justice, putting an end to illegal activities, remains unshaken.
