Fernando Artur Manjor, 38 years old, has been a ranger for 16 years at Maputo National Park where he is currently holding the office of park operations head. Fernando stood out for fighting the wave of poaching in an operation that resulted in the arrest of 14 poachers, of which 5 were judged and sentenced between 12 to 16 years in prison. As a result of this operation, there is now a reduction in poaching which used to feed the markets in the cities of Maputo and Matola. Fernando shows bravery in all tasks assigned to him, he has good relationships with partners and institutions relevant to his work.
