Feito Morais Bequi, 38 years old, has been a ranger for 9 years at Coutada Oficial 9, where over the years he has participated in several patrols, withstanding the hot weather, dehydration, as well as threats from poachers. In 2022, together with his team, he deactivated 21 traps and detained 1 poacher. Feito Bequi stood out for his resilience in a patrol activity for several days, where he found and deactivated a trap, and was injured and unfortunately blinded in his right eye. However, this did not stop him from returning to work, 4 months after the accident. Feito Bequi shows bravery, good will, resilience and has a spirit of mutual help with his colleagues on the front line for the protection of natural resources.
