António Soze Fombe, 35 years old, has been a ranger for 14 years, the last eight of which he spent in the Niassa Special Reserve, where he is recognised for being always motivated and available for the most risky patrol missions, from which he always obtains good results.
António stood out for participating in an operational manoeuvre that lasted a long time. Without rations for several days, he led, on foot, a chase for 29 kilometres of poachers from Tanzania. He also achieved good results in operations against illegal logging, the removal of mechanical snares, and the detention of poachers.
Antonio is a brave fighter and a man of integrity. He is an example of courage and determination for all his colleagues, and is a fundamental piece in the special services of the Niassa Special Reserve.
