Franka Braun, is a Senior Natural Resource Management Specialist at the World Bank who is working on land use, forestry and blue economy programs in Mozambique. At her previous positing in Bogotá, she was focusing on initiatives promoting sustainable land use and reducing deforestation in Colombia and Mexico. Prior to this she worked at Natsource Asset Management, where she developed and managed carbon finance projects around the world, and served as the company’s specialist for forestry transactions.
Franka holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin and the Institut d’Etude Politique (IEP), and a master’s degree in Economic Policy and International Energy Policy Management from Columbia University.
